If this happens, the company will be able to export products manufactured in India to other countries. Currently, Xiaomi Corporation has launched a small pilot program to export “Indian” Xiaomi smartphones to Bangladesh and Nepal. In addition, there are suggestions that Xiaomi will open new laboratories for testing smartphones.
With regard to the production of local Xiaomi mobile phones in India, the company is currently collaborating with Taiwanese Foxconn and Singapore Flex in its seven plants.
In addition, smartphone chargers, USB cables and batteries, which are sold in India, are also almost 100% produced domestically. With regard to smart TVs, the company has a smart TV factory in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with Dixon Technologies. At the same time, Xiaomi produces in India 85% of televisions that are sold in this country.
