The total area of Xiaomi’s new headquarters in Wuhan is about 52,000 square meters; up to 3,000 employees can work in the new office. Earlier, Lei Jun revealed that the cost of the new headquarters was approximately 1.5 billion US dollars. It is important to note that the company recruited about 2,000 new employees, of which 80% were locals.
