Chinese Xiaomi summed up the results of 2019 and announced its plans for 2020 in the Russian market. The company currently ranks third in the smartphone market in Russia, and also has great success in the Internet of Things (IoT) market.
In 2019, in Russia, the company recorded a 102% increase in sales in the ecosystem category of goods, and the most popular in it were fitness trackers, external batteries, vacuum cleaners, scooters and headphones.
The company declared 2020 the ecosystem year in Russia and intends to intensively expand the presence of the brand’s ecosystem products in the Russian market.
At the moment, Xiaomi is exploring the possibility of connecting devices from different manufacturers to its cloud platform. In addition, in 2020 it is planned to open 200 company stores in Russia and conclude agreements with new retail partners.
