Xiaomi flagships went up first, now it’s Redmi’s turn

New Redmi flagships won’t be as cheap as before.
Today, users of the Weibo social network turned to the head of the Xiaomi Group China and the CEO of the Redmi brand, Lu Weibong, asking if the new flagship Redmi K30 Pro would fall into the category of devices no more than $ 425 (2,999 yuan). To which Lou Weybing answered in the negative.

Recall that for several years Xiaomi released its flagship smartphone at a starting price of 2999 yuan, but Xiaomi Mi 10 was priced at 3999 yuan. Now it is reported that the Redmi flagships will go the same way.

Sources say that the Redmi K30 Pro, depending on the version, will cost from 3099 to 3899 yuan (from 440 to 554 dollars).

The Redmi K30 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship platform and supports SA and NSA 5G modes. In addition, it is expected that the Redmi K30 Pro will be equipped with LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.0 flash memory. The main camera will receive a Sony IMX686 image sensor, and the charging power should be 33 watts.

The first official poster of the Redmi K30 Pro confirms that the smartphone will receive a retractable front camera, the announcement of the smartphone is expected in March.
