Cybercriminals use brand for phishing.
Users of the popular WhatsApp messenger, owned by Facebook, were subjected to another attack by cybercriminals. This was told by the antivirus company ESET.

According to experts, scammers distributed messages about the Adidas anniversary campaign with gifts in the form of T-shirts and shoes. To receive a gift, you must follow the link in which the brand name is used. Moreover, the message uses the old Adidas. Moreover, a fake domain was registered only a few months ago.

A poll is placed on the page by a link, and when it is completed, the user receives a notification about the processing of responses. Then, to receive gifts, the user is invited to send a message about the competition to 20 contacts. Thus, the phishing campaign continued to grow.
