Vodafone is going to remove Huawei equipment from core networks

Vodafone – the second largest mobile operator in the world.
Vodafone, the second largest mobile operator in the world, intends to remove equipment manufactured by Huawei from its core networks in Europe. This decision was made after the UK decided to limit the participation of the Chinese company in the 5G network.

“We made a decision based on the results of a review in the European Union and the decision of the UK government to remove Huawei from the core network,” said Vodafone CEO Nick Read.

“The project will take about five years, and its cost will be about 200 million euros,” added the head of Vodafone.
