Vivo smartphones also taught to save lives

This feature first appeared on Xiaomi smartphones.
Vivo, which planned to release a new JoviOS shell for its smartphones, abandoned this plan. Instead, she released a new version of her existing FunTouch user interface called FunTouch OS 10.

Xiao Zhuge, Team Leader for FunTouch OS, said the team is currently working on a new feature called Earthquake Warning. In the next couple of weeks, this feature will undergo internal testing. This indicates that very soon owners of Vivo smartphones will be able to test it.

This function for Vivo smartphones is similar to the earthquake warning function that Xiaomi released with the latest version of the MIUI 11 proprietary shell. Xiaomi claims that smartphones with MIUI 11 and even Mi TVs can warn users of imminent danger, and the lead can take several seconds up to several tens of seconds. This time is often enough to save as many lives as possible.

Vivo smartphones will not only warn of an earthquake, but also provide information on the nearest shelter, contact information for emergency cases, medical contacts and information on rescue work, which should help in an emergency.
