UniIC Launches First All-Chinese DDR4 Memory Modules

Xi’an UniIC Semiconductors, using the trade name UniIC, has released the first 100% DDR4 memory modules in China, from PCB to DRAM and other components. Modules look commonplace, but this is a significant step towards independence from foreign suppliers.

While UniIC offers only unbuffered 8GB DDR4-2400 and DDR4-2667 memory modules, the pace of development of the local electronics industry suggests that faster and more capacious options are just around the corner. DDR4-2400 modules work with CL17 17-17-39 delays, DDR4-2667 work with CL18 delays. The supply voltage in both cases is 1.2 V.
