British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is preparing to give Chinese company Huawei Technologies access to the future 5G network in this country. This was reported by a source, referring to the Sunday Times.
Senior government and security officials said the UK is moving toward a solution whereby Huawei will be allowed to participate in the “non-controversial” parts of the network. According to the publication, this will lead to a split with the United States, since the States have banned the use of Huawei equipment at home and are trying to persuade the Allies to do so under the pretext that the Chinese can use it for espionage.
