The world’s first 120 watt gallium nitride charger

30 + 30 + 60 W through three connectors or 60 + 60 W through two.
Basel launched its first charger with gallium nitride in 2019, and this year the popularity of such adapters continues to grow rapidly.

Today, the company introduced the new Basel Galio charger, whose power is 120 watts. The adapter uses gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC). Such chargers are more efficient, generate less heat and are smaller.

The Basel Galio charger has three output connectors, two of which are USB-C PD. The third connector is USB-A, which also supports fast charging. At the same time, you can charge three devices at a specified total power or even two laptops that require a 60-watt adapter. The maximum power when using a single USB-C connector is 100 watts. If three connectors are involved, then the power is divided as follows: 60 + 30 + 30 watts.

The Basel Galio charger supports PD3.0 PPS, QC4 +, QC3.0, QC2.0, SCP, FCP, AFC, PE + and can provide fast charging for Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Meizu and other mobile devices.

Dimensions of the device are 94.8 x 54.8 x 29.6 mm. In dimensions (excluding thickness), the adapter is comparable to a credit card. It is 15% less than the latest 96W Apple charger.

The first customers can place an order for the device through Kickstarter for $ 59, a set of two adapters is offered for $ 116.
