After the start of accepting pre-orders for the Cybertruck armored truck, Tesla actively shared statistics, but then abruptly stopped. Analysts assumed that by the time sales start next year, the volume of orders will reach 1 million, and the data provided today by Wedbush Securities are consistent with this.
According to estimates by Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives, the number of Tesla Cybertruck orders could already exceed 650 thousand – he described this volume with the word “stunning”. Ives bases his forecast on the analysis of communities of fans of electric vehicles in general and Tesla cars in particular, as well as on the basis of information received from eco-activists.
Recall, a few days later it became known about Tesla buying a new site for $ 5 million near the city of Austin (Texas, USA) – the Cybertruck Gigafactory plant will appear on it, from which Model Y and Cybertruck will go off the assembly line. The plant is supposed to be built very quickly – almost in three months, but the production of Cybertruck starts only by the end of 2021. By that time, the volume of orders of this model could easily exceed one million.
