The first test of the AMD Ryzen 4000 desktop hybrid processor hit the Web

AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile hybrid processors are already starting to enter the market, but they have not even introduced a new generation of desktop APUs. But they will certainly be.

And today we can evaluate the first tests of one such processor. The name of this model is unknown, but we know that this is an eight-core solution with SMT support, which means that it is either a top-end or pre-top model.

The configuration of the graphics core is unknown, its frequency is 1750 MHz. But there are 3DMark Time Spy test results: 8522 “processor” points and 1182 “graphic” points.

For comparison, Ryzen 7 4800HS scores 7597 and 1092 points, respectively, and Ryzen 7 4800U – 6061 and 1045 points. That is, we can assume that the configuration of the test desktop APU includes the Vega 7 GPU, and a higher result is due to a higher power limit.

As for the timing of the announcement of such processors, reliably we do not know this yet. Early leaks indicated the second quarter of this year.
