Oppo has finally begun distributing a stable version of the ColorOS 7 branded shell for the first batch of devices. Recall that Oppo officially introduced its ColorOS 7 user interface back in November last year, the first testers called the firmware a worthy competitor to the EMUI and MIUI shells. It looks modern, works very smoothly and offers wide functionality.
Currently, the following six Oppo smartphone models are receiving a stable version of ColorOS 7:
- Oppo reno
- Oppo Reno FC Barcelona Edition
- Oppo Reno Inspiration Edition
- Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition
- Oppo reno ace
- Oppo Reno Ace Gundam Edition
In the coming days, Oppo plans to release a stable ColorOS 7 update for more devices. Oppo said it has so far failed to release firmware for other smartphones due to the coronavirus pandemic. The advanced testing program started only in March, and not in January, as planned. Therefore, stable versions for other phones will be released only in the second quarter of 2020.
