Intel has repeatedly reduced prices for some of its processors over the past six months. This is a consequence of the company’s inability to compete with the new AMD CPUs in a different way.
According to the resource DigiTimes, Intel will continue to resort to this method of competition. In particular, in the second half of the year, the company is expected to lower prices for its PC processors. It is not clear which processors it is, but it can be assumed that the usual consumer models will finally undergo cheaper, as the new HEDT CPUs were initially twice as cheaper as their predecessors.
