Sony PS5 will receive an eight-core processor with a frequency of 3.2 GHz

About the PlayStation 5 console today there is both official information and rumors with leaks.

If we talk about the official one, then we know for sure that the new Sony will get a very fast SSD, an AMD platform with Zen 2 processor cores and Navi GPUs. There is much more unofficial information. For example, on the web more than once appeared data on the AMD Gonzalo hybrid processor, which supposedly is the basis of the console.

A new source confirms these assumptions, also mentioning the code name of the new-generation console itself – Prospero. As for Gonzalo, there is a lot of information about this APU, although not all the same and at the same time all of it is unofficial. But all sources agree on one thing: this is a solution with eight processor cores that operate at a frequency of up to 3.2 GHz. Of course, this figure may change by the time the set-top box enters the market, but hardly.
