Sony Music Recording Studio may begin to play a more serious role in exclusive games for the future Sony PlayStation 5 game console, which will result in even greater restrictions on soundtracks.
About the new stage of cooperation between Sony PlayStation and Sony Music told the thematic edition of Rolling Stone, citing its own informants.
According to the source, in an attempt to achieve its One Sony dream concept, Sony will take advantage of the upcoming launch of Death Stranding as “an important test of increased creative collaboration between the PlayStation and Sony Music Group before launching the PlayStation 5 console in 2020.”
Allegedly, closer collaboration will result in Sony choosing to use Sony Music artists in PS5 games. That means we will hear more of AC / DC, Camila Cabello and Beyonce in PS5 exclusives.
