Samsung will give the Chinese the production of a fifth of their smartphones

Samsung has recently used the services of ODM manufacturers to release some of its smartphones. But at the end of this year, only about 10% of the Korean giant’s devices will be produced in this way.

However, already next year their share will double, up to 20%. It is expected that about 60 million Samsung smartphones in 2020 will be produced by third-party Chinese companies.

Now the production of Samsung smartphones are engaged in Wingtech and Huaqin. Given that the Korean giant will significantly increase orders, it is likely that the company will have more partners.

Third-party production will allow Samsung to reduce costs and, possibly, prices for smartphones, strengthening the company’s position in the fight against major competitors.
