Samsung has expanded the range of branded tablets with the release of a model called Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). The key features of the device are impressive autonomy, low weight, as well as a wide range of interfaces, including an LTE modem and a classic headphone jack.

The novelty received a 8.4-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The device is built on the basis of an eight-core Exynos 7904 processor with a maximum clock frequency of 1.8 GHz, the amount of RAM is 3 GB, internal storage 32 GB. You can expand the available disk space using a microSD card.

The multimedia functions of the gadget are represented by the main camera with an 8 megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera, stereo speakers, as well as the ability to connect headphones with Dolby Atmos surround sound technology through a classic 3.5 mm audio jack. The list of wireless interfaces includes LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. The dimensions of the new items are 201.9 x 125.2 x 7.1 mm, weight – 317 grams.

For the autonomy of the model, the built-in 5000 mAh battery is responsible – according to the manufacturer, on one charge the device can work up to 12 hours in video playback mode or provide up to 11 hours of Internet surfing. For charging, there is a USB Type-C port on the bottom of the case. The novelty is running Android 9 Pie with the proprietary One UI shell.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has already gone on sale in the United States at a price of $ 279.
