The creators of the Chinese benchmark Master Lu published a fresh counterfeit rating. It included smartphones, which were most often faked in the first quarter of 2020 in China.
The rating is based on the statistics of the benchmark Master Lu. During the quarter, the benchmark passed 7,931 fake smartphones, while the total number of all smartphones reaches 1,295,457.
Most of them are fakes for Samsung and Apple models. One of the three Xiaomi smartphones in the ranking shares eighth place with the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The five leaders on fakes look like this: Samsung W2019, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone XS Max and Xiaomi Mi Max 3. Fake clamshells Samsung W2019 were detected by Master Lu as many as 498 times, iPhone X – 246 times, iPhone 8 – 213 times, iPhone XS Max – 172 times and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 – 127 times.
