Ryzen Threadripper 3990X just released, but is already the leader in the number of records in the main disciplines of HWBot

Four out of eight records.
The Ryzen Threadripper 3990X has just come out, but has already set many records. Of course, there are even more of them ahead, but now this 64-core AMD monster is the best in half of the main disciplines of the HWBot base.

More specifically, it is the best in the following tests:

  • wPrime – 1024m – 12,058 s
  • Cinebench – R15 – 18,832 points
  • GPUPI for CPU – 1B – 21.622 s
  • Geekbench3 – Multi Core – 293,771 points

In addition, a sister to this Epyc 7742 processor holds a record in the HWBOT x265 Benchmark – 4k. Another record for maximum frequency remains with the FX-8370, and in the near future, if something changes, the maximum will be in favor of the sister FX-8150. No other processors up to frequencies above 8.7 GHz were selected and close.

The remaining two records in the disciplines of Geekbench4 – Single Core and SuperPi – 32M are held by the Core i9-9900KF, and here AMD processors are powerless so far.
