Using an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X processor, DDR4 memory was able to overclock to an effective frequency of 6024 MHz

Micron Memory, represented by its high-performance gaming memory brand Ballistix, has set a world record for overclocking DDR4 memory.

The 8 GB GBistix Elite 4000 module, which uses Micron’s DRAM, was overclocked to an effective frequency of 6024 MHz. At the same time, it was necessary to resort to liquid nitrogen to cool it.

The basis for the system, which was set a record, was the Asus X570 ROG Crosshair VIII Impact board and the AMD Ryzen 5 3600X processor.
