New smartphones will be able to shoot such videos in 8K resolution.
Qualcomm published a video on its official Youtube channel demonstrating the capabilities of new smartphones based on the top single-chip Snapdragon 865 system.
The video with a resolution of 8K was shot on a prototype smartphone with a Snapdragon 865 platform and a camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels. The video shows the beautiful landscapes of Arizona in very high quality.
According to Qualcomm, the new flagships of 2020 are able to shoot with professional quality and will offer new impressive camera features, including 8K video.
Snapdragon 865 received a Spectra 480 image processing engine. This platform allows you to shoot videos in 8K resolution at 30 frames per second.
As expected, support for shooting 8K video will appear on the smartphone Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, whose announcement will take place on February 11.
