Published specifications of Intel Comet Lake-S processors. The maximum frequency of the Core i9-10900K is 5.3 GHz, the Core i7-10700K accelerates to 5.1 GHz

Disclosed the full characteristics of 11 series processors.
The network has new details about the Intel Comet Lake-S processors. A little earlier we wrote that the TDP value of the top models of the line was 125 W, and now the source has revealed the full characteristics of 11 main models of the line of the Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 families.

Based on the increased to 125 W TDP, it could be assumed that the frequency of the 10-core flagship Core i9-10900K will go beyond 5.1 GHz – this is what happened. This processor operates at a frequency of 3.7-5.2 GHz, but in Velocity Boost mode it accelerates to 5.3 GHz. This mode is available only for the Core i9-10900K and Core i9-10900, but in the second case, the maximum frequency is 5.2 GHz.

As for the eight-core i7-10700K, it operates at a frequency of 3.8-5.1 GHz, the frequency of the 6-core Core i5-10600K is 4.1-4.8 GHz.

Of the remaining models of the family, only two models support Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology – the Core i9-10900 and Core i7-10700. Accordingly, the first operates at a frequency of 2.8-5.2 GHz, the frequencies of the second – 2.9-4.8 GHz. A noticeable decrease in the base frequency of these models is explained by another TDP – only 65 watts.

Of the 65-watt processors in the Comet Lake-S lineup, there are also Core i5-10600, Core i5-10500, Core i5-10400, Core i3-10320, Core i3-10300 and Core i3-10100. Their characteristics are clearly visible on the slide below.

The official premiere of Intel Comet Lake-S is expected on the eve of the opening of the North American CES 2020 exhibition on January 6.
