The cost of such support is from 25 to 200 dollars per workstation, depending on the version of the OS (Enterprise or Pro), as well as the time during which the company needs updates.
Continuing to work with Windows 7 without an ESU (that is, without updates) carries significant risks. So, Microsoft has already advised companies and home users to switch to Windows 10, and also obsessively reminds about the need to make decisions using pop-ups and full-screen ads.
