Polestar plans to open 20 showrooms in China. This is part of the preparations for the start of deliveries of Polestar 2 electric vehicles, which will compete with Tesla Model 3 electric vehicles manufactured in China.
The Swedish manufacturer Polestar, owned by the Chinese company Geely, manufactures cars in the eastern Chinese city of Taizhou. Now he has only one salon in Beijing. New ones should appear in 17 cities of China. Mostly they will be arranged in shopping centers.
The presence of branded exhibition halls becomes an important factor in the competition of electric vehicle manufacturers planning to release new models in the world’s largest car and electric vehicle market.
Geely also plans to export the Polestar 2 to Europe and the United States.
