Passive mini-PCs are not the most common type of computer. Most of them are based on energy-efficient and not very productive processors. But the new Impact Display Solutions called IMP-3654-B1-R is not one of them. This is a passive mini-PC with dimensions of 190.5 x 152 x 76 mm, based on the Intel Core i9-9900T processor.
Recall, this is a 35-watt eight-core CPU with frequencies of 2.1-4.1 GHz. That is, this is a fairly productive solution. A PC can also offer up to 32 GB of RAM and SSD format M.2 up to 2 TB. The set of ports includes HDMI, DisplayPort, eight USB connectors and a pair of RJ45.
The price of the new product is unknown. Judging by the information on the manufacturer’s website, such a PC is, firstly, available as a Barebone kit, and secondly, with older CPUs. Most importantly, it is aimed at industrial applications.
