PinePhone Braveheart Edition Designed for Developers and Enthusiasts.
Pine Microsystems, a well-known brand of Pine64, has announced the launch of its PinePhone Braveheart Edition smartphone.

The PinePhone smartphone was announced last year. January 17 began deliveries of the first samples of the device. The limited edition PinePhone Braveheart Edition is intended for “brave” developers and enthusiasts who are ready to try out “Linux on a smartphone”.

Devices do not even come with a full-fledged operating system, users are encouraged to install their own favorite build, while they are all in beta testing.

PinePhone is offered for $ 150. Features include a 5.95-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels, an Allwinner A64 platform, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal flash memory, a 2 and 5 megapixel camera, and a removable 3000 mAh battery. Supported networks are LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g / n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS, there is a USB Type-C port.
