Microsoft will simplify the installation of drivers and updates in Windows 10

You can manage them from one place.
According to the source, Microsoft is working on new and simpler ways to install drivers and non-security updates in Windows 10. This was announced during the release of Windows 10 Build 19536.

By design, the new system will allow users to abandon third-party applications for installing drivers, as well as almost forget about the Device Manager, which is now often used to install, roll back, or remove drivers. Microsoft is going to take the functions of updating drivers, as well as installing updates related to functionality and non-security, in one place with which the user will already work.

It is expected that the new system will be introduced in the next major update (for example, spring) of the operating system in 2020.
