The company closes all its stores due to coronavirus.
Following Apple, which recently announced the closure of all branded stores, except those located in Greater China, by March 27, a similar step was taken by Microsoft.
A Microsoft email to customers said: “We are closing down the Microsoft Store to help protect the health and safety of our customers and employees. In this unprecedented time, the best way we can serve you is to do our best to help minimize the risk of the spread of the virus. ”
The company also assured that it would continue to pay employees of outlets as if they continued to work normally.
How long Microsoft branded stores will remain closed is still unknown.
