Microsoft made Google change search in Chrome browser

Microsoft has announced an important achievement for itself. She managed to ensure that in the Chrome browser, by default, not regular Google search was used, but branded Bing.

Fortunately, the innovation will only affect corporate users of Office 365. Users of Office 365 ProPlus and the Chrome browser will have the Microsoft Search in Bing extension installed. After installing the extension, the default search engine in the browser will change to Bing.

In principle, users can still manually change the default search engine to Google anyway. Enterprise system administrators can also prohibit the installation of an extension with their tools.

The expansion will soon be available to users of Office 365 ProPlus version 2002 in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, the UK and the USA. In the coming months, the coverage of the regions will be expanded, and it is also planned to crank the same scheme with the Firefox browser.
