LG smartphones have received the long-awaited Desktop mode

Previously, it appeared at Samsung and Huawei.
LG did not make an official statement, however, as it became known, in the firmware update for new smartphones based on the Android 10 operating system there is a Desktop mode.

This feature was discovered by blogger Carlos Bagnell during his review of the updated LG V50 ThinQ 5G smartphone. Recall earlier, Samsung and Huawei introduced their versions of the desktop mode for smartphones.

In stock Android 10, Google’s own desktop mode is implemented, however, observers say that LG has a better version, which is better suited for large displays.

Desktop mode in LG smartphones supports resizable windows, which brings multitasking to a new level. You will need a cable with USB-C and HDMI connectors for connecting a monitor, as well as a keyboard and mouse.

The LG V50 ThinQ 5G smartphone started getting the LG UX 9.0 update based on Android 10 about a week ago, before that the LG G8 ThinQ and LG G7 One received the update. Users of these smartphones can already test this mode.
