As we already reported, Samsung Electronics closed its factory in Kumi (South Korea) for two days last weekend for disinfection after one of the employees was diagnosed with COVID-19.
Samsung Electronics is not the only South Korean manufacturer to resort to such strict measures to prevent the spread of the disease.
According to the source, LG Display and LG Innotek also temporarily closed their enterprises in Kumi. In the case of LG Innotek, this was done for one day for disinfection, when one of the factory workers confirmed that he had contracted the virus.
The work of the LG Display factory for the production of screens for smartphones was suspended after COVID-19 was diagnosed with an employee of a nearby bank. The company expects to resume production this month.
