Raspberry Pi on steroids: Nvidia unveils tiny Jetson Xavier NX super single-board supercomputer

Nvidia Introduces Jetson Xavier NX – The World’s Smallest AI Supercomputer for Robots and Embedded Systems As you can see in the images, the size of the supercomputer board is really small. More precisely, the dimensions are 69.6 x 45 mm.

Of course, the term Nvidia supercomputer in this case applies at its own “peril and risk.” In fact, the heart of the Jetson Xavier NX is a single-chip system with six Nvidia Carmel processor cores and a Volta GPU with 384 CUDA cores and 48 tensor cores.

The supercomputer also received 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 16 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash memory. All this consumes 10-15 watts with a performance of 21 TOPS (at 15 watts; at 10 watts, the performance is 14 TOPS). The tiny supercomputer is made on a board of SO-DIMM format.
