iQOO 3 5G tested for strength with the BMW 530Li

The iQOO brand decided to conduct an original crash test of the new flagship smartphone iQOO 3 5G. To demonstrate the build quality of the device and the high protection class of the glass covering the display, the engineers installed the smartphone as brake pads of the BMW 530Li.

A pair of regular brake pads of the car’s brake system was removed by installing two iQOO 3 5G smartphones in their place. After that, the two-ton car made a circle on the racetrack and completed it with sharp braking.

Despite the fact that both devices took all the blow during braking and suffered serious friction on the surface of the disk, the touch screen of the gadgets remained functional, and the battered case did not affect the functionality of smartphones.

Recall that the iQOO 3 5G is based on the Snapdragon 865 processor and comes with 12 GB of RAM LPDDR5, a 48-megapixel main camera with four modules and a 6.44-inch AMOLED display. One of the features of the model is support for fast charging with a power of 55 W: in just 15 minutes, the gadget is charged up to 50%.
