Intel is in a hurry to help. The company allocates money to help victims of coronavirus

While many companies are thinking about how to survive in the midst of a coronavirus pandemic, Intel is providing money to help the victims.

According to a press release on the manufacturer’s website, Intel will provide $ 4 million to support efforts to help coronavirus victims in areas where the company has a significant presence.

The donation will be distributed among public foundations and organizations involved in food security, housing, medical equipment and small business support.

The regions that will receive Intel financial assistance include Arizona, California, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Costa Rica, India, Ireland, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, and Vietnam. True, given such an impressive list, an amount of $ 4 million seems like a drop in the bucket. However, this is still better than nothing.

Separately, Intel is going to allocate $ 2 million to help its employees working at large facilities of the company, as well as its former employees in the United States who have already retired.
