Intel fiasco. No one needs a Core i9-9900KS

The processor almost disappeared from sale just 4 months after the official premiere.
The sad fate befell the flagship eight-core Intel Core i9-9900KS processor – it disappeared from store shelves only four months after the start of sales. And the matter is not in rush demand, just the CPU turned out to be a failure.

The Core i9-9900KS is an overclocked version of the Core i9-9900K, with a large TDP and operates at a frequency of 5.0 GHz with all active cores. But with the characteristics not much better than that of the Core i9-9900K, it turned out to be much more expensive (margin in Europe was over 100 euros). Not surprisingly, the Core i9-9900KS was not particularly popular among users.

According to a source, in Germany the Core i9-9900KS can only be bought at two sites – Amazon and Caseking. And even then in the second case, the supply is very limited. Apparently, the processor is being discontinued.
