The Aeronet Association, with the participation of the Federal Air Transport Agency and several other organizations, has developed a professional standard “Specialist in flight and technical operation of unmanned aerial systems … up to 30 kg.” In 2018, the document was approved by order of the Ministry of Labor.
Programs will be divided into four categories with a total duration of 80 academic hours. The difficulty of training varies depending on the weight of the drone.
Soon owners of light drones will not need to get permission from the air authorities to launch drones to a height of 150 m. However, relief is being prepared against the background of toughening other rules for the use of drones. On September 27, amendments to the law came into force, according to which all BVS weighing from 250 g to 30 kg should be registered with the Federal Air Transport Agency.
