Collaboration can lead to new breakthroughs in energy-efficient AI-based video enhancement technology for next-generation smartphones.
The Swedish company Imint Image Intelligence AB (Imint), calling itself the world leader in video enhancement software, has joined forces with Qualcomm Technologies to develop a new generation of video enhancement solutions using the latest artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
Allegedly, through a partnership with Qualcomm, Imint intends to “set a new standard for smartphone camera capabilities using an AI-based solution suite that will allow you to receive professional-quality content using mobile devices.”
In addition to AI-based video enhancement solutions, Imint and Qualcomm Technologies are also working to upgrade their existing suite of Imint Vidhance smartphones with a new technology that significantly reduces power consumption. Vidhance’s new energy-efficient solutions are optimized for use on the Qualcomm® Snapdragon 865 flagship mobile platform.
The Vidhance package includes the components Vidhance Selfie Mode, Vidhance Super Stabilization, Vidhance Multi-Camera Transition and Vidhance Dynamic Motion Blur Reduction, which are already used by leading smartphone manufacturers, including Xiaomi, OPPO, OnePlus and Vivo.
