HyperX Cloud Flight S headset supporting Qi wireless charging priced at $ 160

HyperX, a division of Kingston with gaming-oriented products, announced the launch of its HyperX Cloud Flight S headset at CES 2020 in January.

A distinctive feature of the device is support for Qi wireless charging technology. The headset can work up to 30 hours without recharging. Connecting to a PC and consoles provides a wireless interface using a radio channel in the 2.4 GHz band. Of course, as an alternative, it is possible to use a wired connection.

In headphones that support surround sound using proprietary technology of virtual sound 7.1, installed dynamic emitters with a diameter of 50 mm. The microphone on a flexible bar is made removable. In the design of the headset, one can note the fastening of the ear cups, which allows them to be rotated 90 °, so that the headset is more comfortable lying on the neck. The manufacturer notes that the ear pads use a very soft foam material with a memory effect and breathable leatherette.

The frequency response of the headphones is 10-22,000 Hz, the impedance is 32 Ohms, the sound pressure level is 99.5 dB / mW at 1 kHz, and the total non-linear distortion coefficient does not exceed 1%. The headset with microphone weighs 320 g.
