Huawei will be allowed to build in the UK R&D center worth nearly half a billion dollars

With reference to the Sunday Times, a source reports that Huawei Technologies will receive permission to build a research and development center (R&D) in the UK next week.

The center, worth almost $ 500 million, will be located in the British village of Soston, ten kilometers from Cambridge. It is expected that the Chinese manufacturer of telecommunications equipment will develop microchips for broadband communications.

According to the newspaper, the district council of South Cambridgeshire, where Soston belongs, is recommended to approve the company’s application.
