The company formally Sony remains an A-brand in the smartphone market, but the company’s sales have been falling for several years. Over the past quarter, as shown by a fresh report, the Japanese giant sold only … 600,000 smartphones.
And this is incredibly small even in comparison with some young brands, not to mention the market leaders. For comparison, Huawei recently reported that it has delivered 200 million smartphones to the market in record time since the beginning of the year. As a result, it is expected that by the end of the year, the Chinese giant will sell 270 million units.
And it turns out that Huawei sells more smartphones per day than Sony per quarter. Unfortunately for Sony, even hints of a change in the trend are not yet visible, but the company is at least trying to change something.
