Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), which completed the second quarter of fiscal year 2020 on April 30, published a report.
The revenue of a company specializing in servers, storage, network equipment, software and IT services last quarter amounted to $ 6.0 billion. This is 16% less in annual terms or 15% less, if we take into account the change in the exchange rate.
During the quarter, the company suffered operating losses of $ 834 million, and a net loss of $ 821 million. For comparison: a year ago, an operating profit of $ 434 million was obtained, while net profit was then $ 419 million.
According to company management, its financial performance worsened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Given the continuing macroeconomic uncertainty, the manufacturer withdrew the forecast for the year as a whole.
