Google suspected of illegal data collection

EU antitrust authorities are investigating Google’s data collection. The EU focuses on data related to local search services, online advertising, online advertising targeting services, a web browser, as well as authentication tools and other aspects. The European Commissioner for Competition has already imposed fines to Google totaling more than € 8 billion.

Competition European Commissioner Margret Westagher has imposed fines on Google totaling more than € 8 billion over the past two years.
