Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his connections with Apple’s supply chain, shared a new forecast for the company’s future products.
The analyst is confident that Apple will sell at least 20 million iPhone SE 2s in 2020. The smartphone will begin sales in the first half of the year. The optimistic forecast of Ming-Chi Kuo indicates greater success — up to 30 million before the end of the year.
According to an earlier statement by the analyst, the iPhone SE 2 will be closer in design and features to the iPhone 8. It will get a 4.7-inch screen, a single main camera, and a Touch ID fingerprint scanner. At the same time, the smartphone will be based on the most modern A13 platform, like the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. Also, the smartphone will receive 3 GB of RAM.
Starting price should be $ 399. iPhone SE 2 should replace the iPhone 8, which is now sold to Apple from $ 499 in the US and 39,990 rubles in Russia. The announcement is expected in March 2020.
