In August, at the annual Black Hat Security Conference in Las Vegas, Apple announced a new vulnerability detection reward program for Apple iPhone smartphones.
The program provides for the payment of fees up to $ 1 million. This is the biggest reward of its kind in the history of Apple. Another feature of the program was that it is open to all comers. Previously, only those invited by Apple itself could participate in such programs. The date when the program will begin to operate was not announced in August. Last Friday, Ivan Krstić, who leads Apple’s security development team, fixed the flaw.
