COVID-19 pandemic boosts corporate laptop demand

Many companies transfer employees to work at home.
Citing industry representatives, the source said demand for laptops in the corporate market began to rise as coronavirus spreads throughout Europe and North America, prompting local companies to ask employees to work at home to curb its spread.

Among large companies, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Apple and Facebook have already begun to encourage their employees to work remotely and not visit offices unnecessarily. A similar situation is observed in the educational segment.

This factor was able to compensate for the decrease in demand associated with the end of the transition to Windows 10 with Windows 7 due to the termination of support for the latter by Microsoft.
