Computex, due to be held in Taipei as early as early June, is expected to be canceled. It is unlikely that anyone doubted this result, but now we have an official statement by the organizers. The reason, of course, is the coronavirus pandemic.
So far, the organizers have plans to hold Computex in the fall. More precisely, from September 28 to September 30. But so far these are just plans, since no one knows what will happen to the coronavirus pandemic by then. By the way, this year the Computex exhibition marks 40 years. And this will be the second case when the event is postponed – the first was in 2003 against the background of the SARS epidemic of pneumonia.
