In this case, the source says that the architecture will remain the same, but it is not very clear what is meant. Probably, we are talking about preserving the Cortex-A77 cores and the Mali-G77 GPU, only in a different configuration.
The new platform should appear in smartphones in the third quarter of next year, but 5G SoC in the first quarter.
