Apple returns multitasking to iPhone and iPad

Apple has released iOS and iPadOS mobile operating system updates for the iPhone and iPad. IOS and iPadOS 13.2.2 updates are available for Apple smartphones and tablets “over the air”.

iOS and iPadOS 13.2.2 are a small update aimed at improving performance and fixing bugs in the recently released iOS 13.2.

This all sounds not very impressive, but among other things, a major problem with multitasking and memory management has been fixed. Users complained that the system became “more aggressive” in shutting down background applications and tasks. As a result, applications such as Safari and YouTube were forced to restart more often than usual when the user reopens them.

The problem was observed after the release of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13, and in iOS 13.2 and iPadOS 13.2 it became even larger. After reopening Safari, Camera, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, applications were unloaded from RAM especially often.

Also solved the problem with the loss of cellular communication on the iPhone after making a call.
