Apple introduced the MacBook Pro 16-inch

As expected, Apple today unveiled its new 16-inch MacBook Pro laptop. The manufacturer positions it as the “best in the world” professional laptop.

The laptop uses the long-awaited new Magic Keyboard with an improved scissors mechanism and 1 mm key travel. It replaces the poorly-reputed trademark butterfly.

The IPS screen has a diagonal of 16 inches, a resolution of 3072 x 1920 pixels, a density of 226 pixels / inch, a brightness of 500 cd / m², a wide color gamut of P3. It is based on Intel 9th generation processors with 6 or 8 Core i7 or Core i9 cores, AMD Radeon Pro 5300M or 5500M graphics with video memory up to 8 GB, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB or 1 TB on a solid-state drive. In addition, for the first time on a MacBook Pro, you can install an SSD with a capacity of 8 TB.

As the company promises, the 16 ‑ inch MacBook Pro 16 is able to work longer without recharging. The claimed battery life is 11 hours to view sites over a wireless network or up to 30 days in standby time.

The laptop is equipped with a six-speaker system, Touch Bar, Touch ID sensor, Force Touch trackpad and Apple T2 Security chip.

Next next macbook pro ports include four Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Wi-Fi (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.0 are supported.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro starts shipping today, starting at $ 2,399. Two colors are available – gray and silver.
